I wanted to bring to life the feelings of how home can bring the feelings of safety and warmth. The center element, the heart, represents the self, gently cradled and the vertical and horizontal elements inner/outer walls further protecting the occupants within. The colors of blue and green represent life and calm. Shot in the middle of the day, I play a trick by putting it in a night scene. I always like to play with reality, leaving one guessing what is different about this painting.
